I have had great response from the
beanies that I've made, and I've got orders from my friend to make her the
plush toy version for the Green Pig. Since its her birthday in September,
I've made it just in time so I have time to post it to her in Hong Kong. After
finishing the Pig I thought it looked abit lonely on its own, so I've decided
to make him a companion as well.

ReplyDeletethank you!!!! my soon to be 4 year old is crazy for angry birds. i decided to see if i could find knitting patterns. you are my saving grace. :) i'm doing an angry birds party for him! these guys will be perfect! thank you, thank you, thank you! i cant' wait to start them.
ReplyDeleteThank You! I made red bird and put it to my blog (http://nirpunomatjutut.blogspot.com).
ReplyDeleteI wonder how you make this part where you have two colours? Do you cut yarn every time? That part was difficult to me.
Waiting yellow bird pattern too... :)
Hi Nirppu,
ReplyDeletei cut the yarn and just weave in the end when i change colour, although i know you can use the intarsia technique, but the downside to that is you have a right and wrong side and therefore you need to purl. i don't like purling and because no one will ever see the back so i just cut the yarn instead.
Here's a video showing you how to intarsia in the round which i found very useful.

hope this helps.
Tis is going in husbands stocking for Christmas. He is Jewish but I have been known to put a menorah in his Christmas stocking. Life is too short not to have fun. Thanks again for the patterns. They are perfect!
ReplyDeleteI modified your red bird pattern to make a blue bird. I need to fix one of the eyes, but I blogged it here, and at some point I'll post the pictures to Ravelry: http://t.co/7u4Cou0k
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say I LOVE YOUR PATTERNS! They are all so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove these! (A friend just sent the link.)
ReplyDeletePlease could you work a pattern for some of the other birds as my sister has asked for a whole set for someones present. Thanks, loving the patterns that are already there :)
ReplyDeleteWow
ReplyDeleteWhen my friends found out i knit, they laughed and found it hilarious (im a guy) but then they asked what i was knitting, and now they all want one!
ReplyDeletePS. my friends want a blue one! If you have made it could you please put the pattern up? thanks :)
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks for sharing. i hope i can make one for my girl.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pattern for the Red Angry Bird -- I'm trying to make this into a tooth-fairy Angry Bird for my 4-year-old grandson.
ReplyDeleteI would like advice, however, on how to stop the white part from being so tight; I've tried starting it twice now and the second time I did the beginning part on two circular needles, but I think the trailing white/red colours are still too tight and now that I'm about to stuff I'll have to cut them and try and secure them somehow. Any ideas, please?
Would you have a pattern for the mighty eagle? I have a 9 year old who is addicted to the birds. There is no way I'm going to pay over 100 dollars for a stuffed toy.
ReplyDeletehi, no sorry, i have stop making new patterns for angry birds.
Deletehi i am looking for the pattern for the black angry bird can u help please
ReplyDeleteSaw your red angry bird golf club cover too and will make that for husband's birthday gift! Am wondering though if you can share some tips to convert all characters to club covers? That will make this group the shinest among any golf courses!
